Description

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar – Transfer to Deluxe Hotel

• Arrive at Srinagar Airport and meet our representative.
• Transfer to a deluxe hotel (similar to a 3-star category) in Srinagar (Non-AC vehicle on a shared basis).
• Rest of the day at leisure to prepare for the trek.
• Overnight stay in a deluxe hotel in Srinagar.

Day 2: Registration & Sightseeing in Srinagar

• After breakfast, our representative will assist you in completing the mandatory Amarnath Yatra registration process.
• Post registration, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Srinagar, covering Dal Lake, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Lal Chowk, and Shankaracharya Temple.
• Return to the deluxe hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam (95 km / 2-3 hours)

• Early morning departure to Pahalgam by shared transport.
• En route, see apple orchards and Lidder Valley.
• Check-in to a shared camping tent in Nunwan/Pahalgam.
• Overnight stay in a shared tent/camping.

Day 4: Pahalgam – Chandanwari (16 km drive) – Sheshnag (11 km trek)

• After an early breakfast, drive to Chandanwari (16 km, security clearance required).
• Start the 11 km trek from Chandanwari to Sheshnag via Pissu Ghati.
• Arrive at Sheshnag and check into shared tents.
• Overnight stay at high-altitude camping in Sheshnag.

Day 5: Sheshnag – Panchtarni (13 km trek)

• Begin the trek from Sheshnag towards Mahagunas Top (14,500 ft) and descend to Panchtarni.
• After reaching Panchtarni, have lunch in Langar.
• Overnight stay in a shared camping tent at Panchtarni.

Day 6: Panchtarni – Amarnath Cave (6 km trek) – Baltal (16 km trek)

• Early morning start trek to Amarnath Cave (6 km).
• Take a holy dip in the ice-cold stream and have Darshan of the Ice Lingam.
• Later begin the 16 km trek towards Baltal.
• The journey takes approximately 6-8 hours.
• Arrive at Baltal and check into shared camping tents.
• Overnight stay in shared tents.

Day 7: Baltal to Katra (365 km / 8-10 hours drive)

• Depart from Baltal early morning by shared transport.
• Enjoy scenic views along the way to Katra.
• Arrive in Katra and check in to a deluxe hotel.
• Rest and prepare for the Vaishno Devi trek.
• Overnight stay in a deluxe hotel in Katra.

Day 8: Maa Vaishno Devi Darshan (Trek)

• Early morning breakfast at the hotel.
• Begin the 12 km trek from Katra to Bhawan for Maa Vaishno Devi Darshan.
• Pass through key landmarks:
  • Banganga – The first checkpoint after Katra.
  • Charan Paduka – Where Goddess Vaishno Devi is believed to have rested.
  • Adhkuwari – A sacred stop where pilgrims offer prayers.
• After darshan, trek back to Katra by evening.
• Return to deluxe hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 9: Katra to Jammu (50 km / 2 hours drive)

• Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
• Depart for Jammu Airport/Railway Station by shared transport.
• Tour ends in Jammu with spiritual memories.
