Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport (1300 m)

Important Points

  1. Political Restrictions in Tibet:
    • Avoid discussing political or government-related topics in Tibet. Failure to adhere to this may result in serious consequences.
  2. Group Travel:
    • Solo travel is strictly prohibited in Tibet. Pilgrims must stay with the group at all times.
  3. Accommodation:
    • Facilities in Tibet are basic, and toilets and shower facilities may be common or unavailable in some locations.
  4. Travel Flexibility:
    • Changes in the itinerary, services, or accommodation may occur due to weather conditions, political changes, or unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Deposit:
    • INR 15,000 for Indian & Nepali citizens.
    • USD 300 for other nationalities.
  2. Visa Denial:
    • If the Chinese government denies the visa, INR 15,000 + visa processing charges (for Indians) or USD 300 + visa processing charges (for others) will be deducted.
  3. Cancellations Beyond Our Control:
    • For cancellations due to natural calamities, emergencies, or political disturbances, the following refund structure applies:
      • 151+ Days Prior to Departure: Full refund minus INR 15,000/USD 300.
      • 46-150 Days Prior to Departure: 70% refund minus INR 15,000/USD 300.
      • 31-45 Days Prior to Departure: 35% refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
      • 0-30 Days Prior to Departure: No refund.
  4. Alterations:
    • Changes to the itinerary, services, or accommodation are at the discretion of the tour operator. Any extra costs incurred will be borne by the pilgrim.
